The Amelia County Historical Society was founded in 1958 and is located in the Jackson Building in Amelia Courthouse, VA. The object of the Society is to discover, procure and preserve whatever may relate to the natural, civic, architectural and literary history of Amelia County and to have available this material for study and research.
